Bounce House FAQ

I'm in! How do I make a reservation?
Call us at 862-668-7036. Reservations are accepted via telephone because we must get specific information regarding your event, times, and location. We must also be able to fit you into our delivery schedule. At the time that your reservation is placed, you will be added to our delivery schedule for that day. We require a non-refundable $75 deposit. If you need to cancel the event, your deposit will be applicable for future reservations, but it will not be refunded. On the day of the event, you will be required to read and sign our Rental Agreement and Liability Waiver.

How long does it take to set up? 
It will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes to setup a bounce house if the area has been properly prepared and free of debris. Setup time includes reviewing safety procedures with the Operator. We will leave a signed copy of the safety procedures agreement with you.

What surfaces can the bounce castles be setup on? 
The safest surface is a level grassy area. However, we can setup on concrete, asphalt, parking lots, etc. Please specify which surface the bouncer will be setup on so we can provide the appropriate anchors. 

How many children fit in the bounce castle? 
Unit Size - 15ft X 15ft 
Children under 8 yrs - 10
Children 9-12 yrs - 6-8 
Teens - 6 teens of age of 13 and over
Adults - 4 

Where can I set up a bounce castle?
Backyards, parks, gymnasiums, and just about anywhere else fairly level and clean will work great for a bouncer. 

Can I have the bounce house setup on a driveway?
Yes, but we cannot setup the bounce house on a dirt surface, gravel, mulch or sand.

Are bounce castles safe? 
Absolutely! If all the rules outlined on the Operating Instructions page of your rental contract are followed, and the unit is supervised at all times, they are very safe. 

Do you provide a person to supervise the castle during the rental period? 
Yes, we can for an additional cost. 

What am I responsible for?
An adult, or "Operator," is responsible to supervise the bounce house when it is being used. The renter is responsible for the safety of all the users and care of the bounce house. The renter will receive and sign a safety checklist upon delivery.

Is there a delivery charge? 
Free Delivery/Setup within 10 miles from Garfield NJ 07026. We Charge $2.50 per each extra mile plus tolls two ways, calculate from Google maps fast and easy way, from Garfield NJ 07026.

I am having a party at a location other than my yard, can you set up bounce houses in parks?
Yes, we can setup our bounce houses at a location other than your own property, but YOU are responsible for obtaining any permits or paying additional fees required. The rental of a power generator may be required to provide electricity if a 110VAC outlet is not available. We can provide you with a generator for an additional fee per day plus fuel.

What if it is rainy or windy?
Kids Party 411 reserves the right to cancel a reservation (at no penalty to you) if there are heavy rains or high winds (over 20 mph). Safe operation of our units and customer safety is our utmost concern. However, once the unit is delivered, no refunds shall be issued due to bad weather.

Do you deliver and set up the units?
Yes. We will deliver and set up your bouncers and insure that it is clean and in good working condition before your party starts. Once the party is completed we will come back to take it down. Set up normally takes about 20-25 minutes, and take down takes about the same. Setup time includes reviewing safety procedures with the Operator. We will leave a signed copy of the safety procedures agreement with you.

How far in advance should I make my reservations?
The sooner the better! We reserve our units weeks and sometimes months in advance. We don’t want you to miss out on the fun! 

What if we want to keep the bouncer longer?
Based on the delivery schedule on your day, you may receive extra time, at no additional charge to you. If the unit is available (unreserved for the next day), you can use it for a small fee. 

What does "All Day Rental" mean?
"All Day Rental" means that you have the right to keep the units for 4 hours, at most. If you wish to keep your bounce house, or other equipment for additional time, please contact us.

Can I rent for longer then one day?
Yes. People often rent it for more then one day. Depending on the number of days you would like to rent it for, and the days on which the reservations fall on, discounts can be given for multi-day rentals. 

How much of a deposit do I need? 
Deposit: A $75.00 Cash, Credit Card or Check. Cleaning Fee is required at time of Delivery/Setup – Renter is Responsible for keeping the Unit Clean and Safe from damage.  The deposit is non refundable if Bounce /Food machine is returned Unclean. -$25.00 to $100.00 for Cleaning – $100.00 to $200.00 to repairs – $500.00 to $1500.00 If Unit is not Repairable, Lost or Stolen.

What kind of power is required?
The bouncer must be within 100 feet of a dedicated 20-amp circuit. The blower uses as much electricity as an indoor fan once the bouncer is fully inflated. Please realize that only ONE BOUNCER may run per circuit. If you are renting multiple units or you are just concerned in general about your electricity, please make sure to ask our secretaries about the option of adding a generator to your order. 

What are my responsibilities as the renter of the bounce castle? 
You must assign a responsible adult to supervise the children while the bouncer is in use. This adult must know all the safety rules and make sure those rules are enforced. You are responsible for the safety of the children and for the care of the equipment. 

What happens if I book a package and it rains?
Mother Nature is unpredictable. Rain happens! In the event of rain cancelling your event prior to setup, your payment (less your deposit) will be refunded. However, once we set the bounce house or other inflatable up at your event, all rental charges will apply. If rain or heavy winds arrive during your event, you should abandon the inflatable as quickly and safely as possible. Before resuming use of the bounce house or inflatable, you must thoroughly dry the inside of the unit, for your safety.

Is food allowed inside the inflatables?  
Water can harm the inflatables. Because of this, we do not allow drinks or water in the units at anytime. Damp bathing suits are not a problem inside Inflatables as long as people towel dry their skin prior to entering. Toys are also not allowed in the inflatable. Food and Gum are never allowed inside the inflatables. 

Can I bring toys in the bounce houses?
No absolutely nothing can go in the house. That will make it dangerous for the children such as tripping or falling. No silly string can go in the houses (they will damage the houses). Also no smoking near the houses it can put a hole in the house and cause it to deflate on the children.

Will the bounce castle harm my lawn? 
No,  We also place stakes in the yard to anchor the bouncer. Please notify us of underground sprinkler lines, and try to keep that in mind when choosing a location for your bouncer.

Can I rent a bounce house with just one day notice?
Yes. Although we recommend booking in advance, we have several bounce houses to pick from. Please give us a call at 862-668-7036 to see what we have immediately available.
